I had the pleasure of spending the weekend at the BRSCC Fiesta Junior Scholarship, supporting aspiring young drivers and their families as they explored opportunities to join one of the UK’s most exciting junior racing championships.

As someone who started racing cars in the Fiesta Junior Championship, it was fantastic to be able to give something back by offering advice, guidance and encouragement throughout the weekend. The event also gave me the opportunity to reconnect with my former team, Race Car Consultants, and catch up with many friends and familiar faces from across the BRSCC and Fiesta Junior paddock.

One of the highlights for me was seeing some of the drivers I work with as a simulator coach perform so strongly. I was particularly proud of Bertie Shammas and Zac Ibbotson, who both showed fantastic potential throughout the scholarship process. I’m looking forward to following their progress as their motorsport careers continue to develop.

Congratulations to Kian Bernard, who delivered an outstanding performance to secure this year’s Fiesta Junior Scholarship title. It was a well-deserved result and I’m excited to see what the future holds for him. I’d like to thank everyone involved for making the weekend so enjoyable, and I wish all the scholarship entrants the very best for the season ahead.
